Navigate complex business environments with clear, actionable strategies tailored to your unique goals and challenges.
Our Approach
When entering a new organization, our Business Strategy consultant will begin with an intensive discovery period focused on three critical dimensions:
- Organizational strategy and strategic execution plan
- Organizational efficiency and scalability
- Organizational capabilities
The Business Strategy Consultant’s approach will be strategic, collaborative, and tailored to the organization’s unique needs.
The Business Strategy Consultant will take care to observe team dynamics and working styles before suggesting any process changes, recognizing that successful business transformation requires both organizational insight and technical expertise.
The Business Strategy Consultant will work to establish clear lines of communication, setting expectations for status updates, escalation procedures, and decision-making protocols; rather than imposing a rigid methodology immediately, the Business Strategy Consultant will adapt their approach to match the organization’s maturity level and specific needs, introducing more sophisticated business transformation practices incrementally as the team develops.
Our Methodology
Phase 1 - Discovery
Our business strategy consultants follow a systematic methodology to identify opportunities to improve an organization’s business strategy, their execution plan, and / or their organizational effectiveness.
In the first phase of activity, the Business Strategy Consultant will:
- Work closely with senior leadership to define clear objectives and prioritize strategic initiatives, including identifying opportunities for growth, cost optimization, market expansion, or innovation, while aligning these goals with the organization’s core values and capabilities.
- Employ proven frameworks and methodologies, such as SWOT analysis, Porter’s Five Forces, or the Balanced Scorecard, to guide decision-making and structure strategic planning.
- Identify key influencers and decision-makers, building strong relationships to secure sponsorship and buy-in.
- Identify the organization’s goals, challenges, and readiness for change, including reviewing existing processes, cultural dynamics, and historical strategy efforts.
By facilitating workshops, meetings, and open forums, the Business Strategy Consultant will create opportunities for transparent communication and increased organizational alignment.
Phase 2 - Initial Execution
During the second phase, the Business Strategy Consultant will:
- Create a business strategy improvement plan that includes a roadmap for implementation, breaking the objectives into manageable phases, including detailed timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Establish business strategy improvement governance mechanisms, including steering committee structures, stakeholder communication plans, and benefits realization tracking.
Phase 3 - Ongoing Execution
The third phase of the methodology involves the Business Strategy Consultant:
- Developing tailored business strategy improvement artifacts, including actionable plans for organizational changes, business unit divestitures, acquisitions, or process improvements, with measurable milestones to track progress.
- Maintaining detailed documentation that follows organizational conventions, facilitating easy integration with the organization’s project and change management systems and enabling effective knowledge transfer.
